The 12th annual Pumpkins in the Park 5K is a spooktacular event for the whole family! 5K Participants enjoy a winding course through beautiful Lincoln Park then celebrate at the post-race party featuring live music, sponsor give-aways and a costume contest for the adults. The CLIF KID Spooky Sprints is for kids 12 and under. Other family friendly activities include pumpkin decorating and a children's costume parade.

The Pumpkins in the Park 5K uses the latest in race timing technology, the Chronotrack B-Tag Timing System. Timing devices will be distributed at Packet Pick-Up.
The 5K course runs through beautiful Lincoln Park. Water and Gatorade Endurance Formula is available at the hydration station. Click here for a pdf of the course map.
Help us reduce our carbon footprint! Fleet Feet Sports highly recommends carpooling, using public transportation, or riding your bicycle to the event.

Bicycle parking will be available at the race site.
Limited street parking may be available. Paid parking is available at the Chicago History Museum lot, (Clark and LaSalle, with the entrance on Stockton Drive ) or in the Lincoln Park Zoo Lot (on Cannon Drive, just south of Fullerton) on a first come, first serve basis.

The Pumpkins in the Park 5K benefits the Parkways Foundation. The foundation invests in Chicago's parks to enrich communities through historic preservation, environmental initiatives, capital projects and youth/family programs.
The Pumpkins in the Park 5K will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made race day at the race site. The event will not be canceled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will be made on site, race day.
