 About the Run
A great event for the whole family! The 5K and 10K races are open
to women only and there is a co-ed kids race for ages 12 and
under.
The course runs around beautiful Montrose Harbor and finishes
with the post-race festival that features sponsor give-aways
and the latest and greatest in Nike products.

Entry Limit
The 5K and 10K races are limited to a combined maximum of 3400 entrants and the kids race is limited to a maximum of 200 entrants. Registration for these events will close once the limit has been reached. Race day registration may not be available.

Entry Fees:
- 5K & 10K Race Fee: $35; $40 race week 7/13/09 - 7/19/09 (if available)
- Team Race Fee: $70; $80 race
week 7/13/09 - 7/19/09 (if available)
- Kids Race Fee: $10
- All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable

Race Day Packet Pick-Up:
Race Day packet pick-up will be available near the start/finish area from 6am - 7am.

Race Shirt & Goody Bag
5K and 10K participants will receive a sleeveless Nike Technical Top.
Kids race participants will receive a Nike Pro Technical Shirt. All race participants
will receive a goody bag.
Keep in mind that the shirts are made of technical fiber and will not
shrink. If you are unsure of your size, sample shirts in all sizes are
available to try on at both Fleet Feet Sports - Chicago locations.
No switching of sizes or colors will be possible. Quantities and sizes of shirts are fixed – please select carefully.

Timing
The 5K and 10K events are timed using transponder (chip) technology, providing
each participant with an accurate time from the start to the finish lines.

Nike Co-Ed Kids Race & Activities
Kids (12 and under) will run distances between 20 yards and a half mile. All Kids Race participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher award. This event is limited to a maximum of 200 entrants. Other kids activities will be available. |

 Course
The course follows Chicago's beautiful lakefront, starting and finishing at Montrose Harbor. Water and Gatorade Endurance Formula will be provided at hydration stations.

 Transportation and Parking
Help us reduce our carbon footprint! Fleet Feet Sports highly recommends carpooling, using public transportation, or riding your bicycle to the event.
To determine the best route to travel via public transportation, please visit the CTA's trip planner (http://tripsweb.rtachicago.com/ ).
Bicycle parking will be available at the race site.
Limited parking is available in the Montrose Harbor Parking Lot, Wilson and Lawrence Parking Lots and on Simonds Drive. Standard Chicago Park District parking rates apply. Exit Lake Shore Drive at Wilson Avenue, Lawrence Avenue or Foster Avenue.
Please arrive early and allow plenty of time to park. The roads into Montrose Harbor begin closing at 6:30am, and lots will fill up shortly thereafter.

Participation and Awards
Nike Awards will be given to:
- Top three overall finishers
- Top three winners in each age group
- Fastest combined Mother & Daughter team
- Fastest combined Sister Team
- Overall winners (first, second and third in both the 5K & 10K) are
not included in age division award categories.
Awards presentation to begin at approximately 9:30am. |

Weather Policy
The Fleet Feet Sports Women's 5K, 10K & Festival will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made race day at the race site. The event will not be canceled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will be made on site, race day.
