The Mizuno Wave Sky replaces the Wave Enigma, and pumps up the cushion by featuring the equally new and innovative Cloudwave technology – a redesigned thermal plastic wave plate that is elastic and flexible as well. Running from the heel to the midfoot, the Cloudwave provides both a springy and cushioned ride.

That cushy feel is further enhanced by a midsole with new U4icX foam, a softer version of the stalwart U4ic midsole foam, that delivers increased responsiveness along with a pillowy-soft feel under the foot. Responsiveness is also increased by the gender-specific grooves of SmoothRide that limit the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during the gait cycle for a seamless heel-to-toe action.
