2013 Registration opening soon!
NEW in 2012:
Whether you run, walk, or just stand and cheer, you're invited to make spirits bright for youngsters in need by making a donation or contributing a new toy to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. More than $2,000 was raised and an equal amount of toys were donated at last year's race.
The Donner Dash is designed for children ages 2 to 12 years, and takes place on a loop course on the running path with the start and finish in the heart of the festivities. The race will be staged in the following heats: 2-4 years - 50 yards 5-6 years - 1/4 mile 7-12 years - 1/2 mile.
The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, is recognized as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country by rankings published in U.S. News & World Report and serves as a major regional referral center. Its physicians are on the faculty at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. The hospital is currently engaged in the Heroes for Life campaign to raise a minimum of $600 million to help support its medical and nursing professionals, programs and research. As a not-for-profit organization, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago relies on philanthropy to help care for more than 126,000 patients and their families every year.
