No matter what your experience level is, our coaches will guide you with challenging, effective and smart training! CES is so much more than "JUST" another training program: it’s a community, a family and a lifestyle. Join us!
We'll be targeting several possible goal races - one at 12-weeks into the program, and another at the end of September. Have fun ALL summer long!
Not planning to run one of the races listed above? No problem! The CES coaches can help modify your training schedule to fit another fall half marathon within a week or two of our goal races. You can still do your long runs with the group. You don't have to do it alone!

Our Half Marathon Training program is available out of FOUR*, Fleet Feet Sports locations:
This year, we've added some additional training location opportunities for the first 2 months of the program.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to provide the BEST coaching & pacing support for the entire length of the program, the Lincoln Square & South Loop locations will ONLY be available through July 31. Beginning August 1, ALL Half Marathon group training will ONLY take place at either the Elmhurst OR Old Town locations.
Hosting our training at Fleet Feet Sports is like having our own "clubhouse". We always have a dry, warm (or cool), place to start & finish, a safe place to store some gear during the runs, experts from Fleet Feet on hand before and after the runs, and plenty of nearby places to have coffee or breakfast with your running buddies after the long runs!
Please note start times above. For a little more detail on what happens at those sessions, read on...
The focus of these mid-week runs will be on form, strength and speed. Our coaching staff will be on hand to help teach, challenge and motivate you!
These days are reserved for the long, slow distance runs that are so important to the success of endurance runners. Pace Leaders are available to guide you at the appropriate pace. Our coaches will also run with you to motivate you and help with any concerns or questions that come up along the way.
BONUS: Restrooms, changing rooms, secure gear storage and water are available at all of our group training sessions!
Not only do you get to have a lot of fun, but you also get a ton of great stuff too! Check it out:
